A Happy Day:)

This morning was the last singing lesson. The producer came to visit us & gave us a lesson about the structure of the music industry. It was interesting & funny. There was insufficient time for everyone to sing so only a few volunteered to sing. I didn't have a chance to sing but i'm fine with it:)

I was amazed how a few of these supporters made an effort to create a nice poster for their friend even though it's not a singing competition.

The guy (2nd on the left) was hanging the poster on his neck made by his friends. So touching!

The guy who has the supporters!

After the lesson, Syemun accompanied me to look for my dearest Dhilah! Then we had a nice lunch & walked to the town area. We took a few pictures at SMU area!

What a honor to take with a songbird! Hahaha... ...

Behind us are batiks. I find it pretty unique!

After taking pictures, we walked to Plaza Singapore & have nice cooling desserts:). Then we headed down to service. So glad that Shuting was here with us.

She is awesome! A great person with humility & good attitude:)

I didn't fellowship with my cell group today. I miss them! Tomorrow is Andrew's birthday! Really looking forward to it:)

I finally have my sunglasses back!

I'm still waiting to receive the photos that i took in Children's Church! I will update again about that! Good Night everybody:)

Love ya:)

To Be Positive:)

How do you deal with your emotions when you are facing an unhappy day at work? Everyone deals differently. Some would just sit & worry unneccessary while some condemn themselves. The truth is you can choose to deal with your situation positively or negatively.

I was feeling quite unhappy on Wednesday & decided to meet up with my friend. Thank God for Samantha who is willing to fellowship with me. Though we only spent about 2 hours fellowshipping, it was really enjoyable:) She is a good communicator & listener ear. I didn't really share about my unhappiness. We talked about other things instead. She sent me a few pictures that were taken about a month ago. Perhaps it is better to begin with the recent ones:)

Thank God for the right people in my life:)

I met a lady recently whom i've not met for many years. During my primary school days, i was in the children's church & she was one of the helpers. I remember her vividly that she was the one who provided me with her cardigan as i was feeling very cold. But i never knew her name.

Years later, God allows me to seize the opportunity to meet her personally. I never thought i would be able to have a chance to interact with her. The best thing is she was a preschool educator for 11 years. Now she is currently in a different line. I feel really blessed. Sometimes, God just gives you the opportunity to meet certain people who can help you in your life.

She is a very tender-hearted & loving lady who makes me feel warm & loved. She invited me to a DBS serminar & we had a great fellowship. She is very encouraging towards me & i truly enjoy her presence. Her words touches my heart deeply & it makes me wanna love God more!

Nicolette, you are truly a beautiful person. Praise the Lord for your love & encouraging words!

i love ya!

...Sing...Blood...Prosperity...

"You just walk in, i make you smile. It's cool but you don't even know me. You take a risk, I run a mile cos' you are always right behind me..." This is an old song, 'STOP' from Spice Girls. I sang this during the 3rd singing lesson. I didn't practise so i kept thinking of the song that i should sing. Fortunately i'm able to remember a little about this song. The comments that i received was ... ...

1. Voice a lil nasel
2. Sing like you speak
3. Relax!

There is room for improvement for myself & everyone in the singing class. My cg member, Syemun is a songbird...haha...so envious man! There will be a singing competition for our batch. It's a pity Syemun couldn't join due to examinations. Maybe i will be joining! Exciting huh?! After lesson, I went to visit my best friend, Fadhilah in Funan mall...so glad to see her!

Alright...now allow me to show you some pictures!
I took this on Thursday, 20/9 the day i went out with Grace! I like this Yin & Yang top cos' it's pretty unique!

Beautiful Sammy was holding her birthday gift given by Miss Wendy!

That's not my shades! I just wanna look cool!

...The Sad 3 unsuccessful donors...
reasons: Jay had a surgery...Lorianne is anemic...I had tooth extraction

The only donor who wore shades & can still relax during donating blood!!! Lame!!! Haha...By the way, don't you think the shades looks kinda familiar to you???

...Adorable Sandy...she is very young but there's something different about her! She shines!

Service was good. It's about spiritual maturity, spiritual revivial, spiritual purpose, prosperity & tithing. Keep tithing & trusting in HIM. Looking back, i really thank God for showering all the blessings & prosperity upon me. Pastor mentioned that the most mature people are usually the most generous people. So to the generous people out there, keep it up! Stingy ones, buck up!

After service, i went for children's church volunteering briefing. i'll be helping out on Friday, 28th September 3pm! Cool exciting! I wanna be a Mascot! I'm still waiting for reply!

I've to stop here. I'm having a headache & feeling very weary now.

Have a good rest:)

Love ya!

Expanding The Capacity!!!

Ever thought of walking an extra mile in work but afraid to do so? Dare to dream big but facing low self esteem? Facing pain & challenges? Once bitten twice shy? Negative mindset? I'm just not that type?

It sounds familiar, isn't it?

Maybe the person could be your closed ones, friends or even you!

Many fail because of these thoughts & mindsets.

Everyone is gifted & has a limit of capacity in themselves. Expanding capacity requires greater effort & work to be put in. As the saying goes, 'No Pain No Gain'. This is definitely a proven fact.

If people come to you & try to degrade you, please 'throw' their unkind words to the dustbin. What is the point of tormenting yourself with unneccessary untactful words in your brain? Everyone has a good brain, a brain that has the ability to store thousands of information inside.

Focus on the positive comments that people said about you instead! Then this will be able to help the mindset to change for the better!

We need to grow from glory to glory.

From a seed to a plant. From a plant to a tree. From a tree to a flowery tree. From a flowery tree to a fruity tree. hahaha...sounds alittle crappy...yet it can be logic if u think for a moment...

It's true that it can be really difficult to expand the capacity.

Mind must be definitely renewed! Stop the 'old fashioned' mind of yours!
YOU ARE WHAT YOU THINK IN YOUR LIFE!

What is stopping you from expanding? Ask yourself that & write it down!
From there, employ the right habits & make a committment to change your life!
It takes 3 days to learn a bad thing but 3 years to learn a good thing. Proven fact. But with God, nothing is impossible!

Right mindset...Right habits...Committment to change...

Think it's enough? No!!!

Company?! Yes!!!

Bad company corrupts good habits. Indirectly, God wants you to have the right association in life.

Of course, i'm not encouraging you to condemn them or beat them up to pulp!!! Keep loving them & meet their hurts & needs but know who you really are.

To excel involves hanging out with successful people. Always aim to go higher.

If you are the best in your group, time to move on to a better group!

Be humble & willing to learn. There are always people who are better than you. Learn from them but do not despise yourself. Be confident & have a great heart & hunger for expansion & growth. Most importantly, if you have the Holy Spirit in you, there's no doubt you can go even further!

LIVE THE DREAMS!

Dreams...What exactly is that?
Are they just imaginations or fantasties that are unrealistic? Does dreams happen only during sleep? How about day-dreaming about your girlfriend or a celebrity during lesson? Many perceive differently about dreams...some people went all the way to achieve their dreams...some give up 'fighting battle' during the mid way...while some do not dare to step out at all...

The fact is everyone has a dream.

D is for Dreams. Don't forget DESIRE also begins with the D too...

Dreams are something that you hope or DESIRE to achieve in future.

To some people, some dreams appear unrealistic or almost impossible to achieve but nothing is impossible!

Of course, the right way to achieve a dream is to live the dream! Waiting for God to help you & not doing anything at all won't make your dream come true. Instead, your bum & brain will only rot... ......

I've a dream. I'm longing to be a Speech & Drama Specialist.

I do have fears to be one cos my language isn't that strong.

Maybe it's the confidence. Perhaps i need to step out in faith!

I've been dreaming that my face appears on TV & Newspapers stating that I'm the best Speech & Drama Specialist! Cool if only that really happens! I'll be the top of the world! What a dream! An unrealistic & silly one!

What is your dream my dear friends? Have you thought of one for your future? Discover your talents & excel them! Unlease your potential & Live your dream!

Encourage yourself you can do it! Nothing can limit you! God is absolutely here to help if you are willing to run an extra mile & be kingdom-minded!

Enjoy dreaming but act upon it! :)

...A Simple Outing With Kins...

I'm left with exactly 30 days to spend time with my kids. I know it sounds like i'm going to die but fear not, people...haha...

Well, i feel a little bad treating my kids really bad. I ran out of patience today & almost erupted like a volcano. Maybe it's PMS. Maybe it's just an excuse.

Ok enough of these...let's me move on to something better...

I've a simple outing with my sister & grandma. Frankly speaking, i rarely went out with them. We went to IMM to do some shopping. My sister bought a pair of shoes with heels for her presentation & other purposes. Besides that, we also bought earrings (one for herself & grandma), diva necklaces (myself), olive shampoo (myself) & bata slippers (grandma bought it for his son). Needless to say, we also included food & drinks as well but i'll not elaborate much. Anyway what goes in will always come out...hahaha....! Still i want to talk about 1 drink that i've bought that was Ice Blended Honey Drink from SweetTalk! I didn't drink that for a long time! It brings back memories ok?!

$23.90 DMK Shoes

This is the height of the heel...Chey!

This pair is for my Uncle. Good for super casual wear but don't wear this kind to work k unless you want your boss to fry fried bee hoon for you...hahaha....

The butterfly earrings are my sis's. The small ones between the butterfly earrings are my grandma's. Necklaces is mine... I'm absolutely an accessaries' freako!

$3 Super cheap! I've the conditioner & scrub (same type) also!

My Sis & Grandma

My grandma is really delighted today. I'll make an effort to accompany my grandma to have fun at least once every fortnight. I can't promise but i'll try:)

Make an effort to have fun with your loved ones too! :)

...Mistakes...

Mistakes are inevitable.
The only thing about it is the 'price.'
Some are just too costly to be afforded.

'Predator'? Haha...

I just came back at 11.45pm from a simple workout! Cool...i feel lighter & refreshed after
workout...But i'm feeling pretty hungry...The saying goes 'A HUNGRY MAN IS AN ANGRY MAN'.
In my case, 'A HUNGRY LADY FLEES FROM TEMPTATIONS!' yeah i'm tempted to eat but
absolutely no! I've been a 'PREDATOR' for these past few weeks & i look like a preggy! I'm not
dieting...no crash diet or what-so-ever...just wanna keep fit & trim!
Ok, Enough of all these 'Predator' thingy....
Finally Raymond sent me the pictures online! Yeah man! Now this is just the reinforcement part...

Best Cell Group N255!

I really love you guys! You guys are simply precious!

...Emptiness...

My mind is sinking into depression today...
It's full of negative thoughts...that allows
the devil to take control of my life...
causing me to indulge into something & torments
my body...
My heart aches alittle when i saw something that
i've not seen for months...
it just reminds me of the memories...
I'm feeling really empty & depressed...
I simply hate myself today...

...Slacker...

Man! This morning i feel pretty tired due to insufficient sleep! Thank God lesson is cancelled so i can take a rest...I look forward to 22nd October! I want to be a student once again! Seriously can't wait to have a diploma cert before i turn 23! The duration is only 6 months! It will end next April 2008...By that time i'll turn 22...Cool! CG is changed to friday from now on at Bedok reservoir! New place New friends...exciting! Mooncake festival is coming...i'm craving for snowskin ones!
I'm gaining pounds...oh no...time to exercise more but i'll still eat like a pig...hahaha...but man! I wish i've a high metabolism! I'm feeling really slacky today...my cg member's birthday is coming...time to shop next week...but i need to be more thrifty from now onwards...

No clothes & shoes for you, Wendy!
Maybe it's true that i eat like a pig, act like a pig, look like a pig
but i'm not possessed like this pig!!!
Lame!
That's all folks!
Enjoy:)

A Good Day But Pretty Tiring!!!

Yesterday Singing lesson was good. Everyone has an opportunity to sing for 1/2 a minute. My cg member, Syemun can really sing very well! His voice is really deep! There are a few potential ones in the lesson too! I wish i could sing well too! There's so much to learn!

After the singing class, Syemun & I ate a good lunch at Clarke Shopping mall. Then we rushed to attend relationship seminar series! It was great! MJ was so funny in his preaching...he talked about 7 qualities to look for in a mate. What are the 7 ones? Let's find out...

1. Committment in personal growth

2. Emotional openess

3. Integrity

4. Maturity & responsibility

5. Healthy self-esteem

6. Positive attitude towards life

7. Personal chemistry

Did you know of anybody who possesses these qualities? Maybe it's time that you can consider about it :) Please note this advice is strictly for 21 above... those who are younger, just wait patiently... Waiting is an 'art' of patience...but it doesn't apply for LATE COMERS! Fortunately I'm already 21 but i'm simply unavailable for relationship now!

After singing lesson, it was the prayer meeting! It was great! I was pretty tired but thank God for His strength :) Then we headed to service...

Joe joined us for service & we celebrated his birthday! We went to Kembangan (wrong spelling, pardon me!) to have a satisfying dinner! The fellowship was indeed awesome & funny! I really enjoy some of the lame jokes from my cg members. Sebastian & Raymond joined us too...Raymond just bought a digital camera! Wooo....i'm so happy coz' i'm a super photoholic! I didn't smile with my teeth today cos there was food stuck between my teeth...so gross... Imagine you saw yourself with a nice smiley face & chilli between your teeth?! Oh my gosh the thought of it is so yucky!

Siangyou & Joe the birthday star of the day!

The God's people :) Love you guys!

Pole dance in MRT? Don't worry this is the conservative version hahaha...

I'm really dead beat!

I will blog again when free!

No More Worries!!!

God answered my prayer when i received a sms that said the subsidy for full time diploma in early childhood is approved! Praise the Lord!

Now i do not have to wait patiently for the reply. I can just give my resignation letter next week with no worries!

My last day of service will proberly be on 19th October.

However the thoughts of my kids cause my heart a little aching. After all, i do have feelings for them even though i really hate to handle them at times.

Everyday, some of the kids will always smile & give me a hug & saying words like, 'Miss Wendy I love you...' Even the most quiet & not so affectionate kid that i know, often gives me a hug whenever she sees me. It really surprises me.

Still, i want to pursue my studies in this coming october. I want to excel to become a better educator. I believe my kids will be able to have a better teacher.

My dream is to be a Speech & Drama Specialist. I'm always hoping to work in Julia Gabriel School to fulfill my dream.

I believe God will provide a way for me to excel in life.

Just keep trusting & be kingdom minded :)

Words can either pierce your heart or heal your broken heart!!!

Friends, let me begin by asking you a simple question.

Which part of your body is the most powerful weapon to 'kill' a person?

Is it the hands? Hold the knife & stab the person to death?

How about the legs? Kick like a horse?

The answer is the MOUTH!!!

This is the only part where your mouth begins to speak.

That's when words come in.

What you speak & How you speak can impact the person's life.

Even unintentional jokes can even hurt somebody's pride.

Out of the heart, the mouth speaks.

That's why human need to learn to be tactful but to tell the truth & not beating around the bush.

What are the best words that is pleasing to the ears?

That's words of encouragement.

Focus on the positive about your friends, even the worst friends you ever have!

It's true that we have a tendency to dislike certain people because of their outward appearance & unruly behaviour.

But please remember nobody is perfect. Even good people whom you think are almost perfect have their flaws too.

But still i've to tell you that bad company corrupts good habits.

Don't be mistaken about this. It's good that you can still call & chill out with them once in a while but you need to be aware of you will be doing. Maintain your character & integrity & still love them with your actions.

Even i've a positive thing to say about Mr. & Mrs. Devil from hell...

They are hardworking devils, destroying people's lives everywhere...

Notice the word, 'hardworking' is a positive word!

So start to be positive in your words & actions!

Show love with your actions & you'll be amazed that a little gesture will make a difference in others' lives. It's called Pay It Forward.

A shows love to B. B shows love to C. C shows love to D......bla bla bla bla....

The essence of love is giving.

Don't just wait to be a taker.
Be a giver!

Sometimes slience with expressions also speaks

Are you seduced by the sexy lips?

Flare in Class!!!

Today my kids were really very noisy & active! I was teaching & they kept interupting! It's good to be participative but they overdoing it! I was so crossed till i really flare up! Then the class became silent. It really pull my mood down & discourages me!!! Why is my class management very bad? Is my lesson very boring? I always need to remind them to about the rules! I don't like it ok?! It's annoying & makes me feel i'm so Ah Mah...worse than a grandma...!!! I can be 'aggressive' ok?! If i'm really angry, i hit the board or slam something on the floor! That's when my anger limt is crossed...! Arggggg.....

Ok enough of these anger...they are forgiven...i hope history will not repeat but just wait & see...i need to be their Ah Mah once again... sigh:(

Thank God I found my 1C attendance book today! Praise the Lord! Gotta to share this testimony this thursday! Losing this book causes alot of nonsense to me!

The negative impacts if i lose the book.

1. Worry
2. Troubled
3. Sad
4. Bad Mood
5. Tired

Tired??? What on earth is the connection?!

Yeah the first 4 negative impacts definitely will cause tiredness coz' your mind is processing the worries...

My blood is running dry...the kids can really suck my blood!!! In no time, i'll lay in unconsciousness with white foam coming out from my mouth! LOL!

That's all folks people...
Once in a while, it's good to express a little more dramatic...:)

...behind a cheerful face lies a mask...

A cheerful face hides the sorrows outwardly…
While the broken heart tries to hide but tears just keep flowing within it…

...Moved to Tears...

Saturday Service was extremely awesome! I'm very touched by Nick Vujicic's testimony & sharing of the Word. My tears kept flowing like a waterfall during the service. The presence was simply too strong. He's a man simply without limits! A man born with birth defects, no limps & no arms. It is amazing. I truly admire his courage but admire God even more for the miracle that HE has done in Nick Vujicic's life.

One thing that he preached about which is very true that is FEAR & GUILT. Many times, mentally or physically handicapped are not people with limit but are people with fear & guilt. Even people who are born normal live in fear & guilt too. These are the 2 things that stop people leading a happy life. That's why people need God in their lives. Of course there're other reasons but i won't elaborate much.

At the end of the service, Shuting came forward to receive Christ. Praise the Lord! I'm really happy for her! She's going to experience a new life with Christ living in her! She fellowshipped with us & we had a great time in Changi Airport Macdonald! Joe joined us as well! We really had a great laughter!

I & Sandy The Photoholic Sweetie! We took this before the service starts. She doesn't like flashlight hahaha...

My lovely gentle sweet Lorianne! We took this in the train!

The Lovely Siblings, Lorianne & Leonard The Elvis Presley in N255! Haha...

Siang You, Shalynn, Syemun, Kelvin & Joe

Suddenly a head grows from Shalynn's head?! I become a rabbit?

That's not all! I met up with my 2 precious members, John & Kelvin on Sunday. Siang you joined us much later in Sake Sushi. They are really very nice & funny. I'm so blessed to have such wonderful friends that God has placed in my life. I truly appreciate their presence & company.

"Nothing makes the earth so spacious as to have a friend at a distance."

-Henry David Thoreau
