Children's Day

Remember one of my previous posts that i'm gonna mentioned about Children's Day? Here it is! It was held in Church on 28 September 2007.

The children are very fortunate & blessed. They have such wonderful teachers & service & gifts! Dealing with children is never an easy task. It requires effort, attitude, creativity & tactics to deal with them. To all the teachers out there, i salute you people!

I didn't really deal with the kids. I did the packaging stuffs with my partner, Jeffrey. He was a great & efficient volunteer. Thank you so much for the contribution! Your help is truly appreciated:)

During serving, i saw my ex-ministry member, Jonathan Tang! He is getting hulkier & handsome! Cool huh! Hahaha...Glad to hear that he's serving actively for God! Praise the Lord!

Indeed, it was truly an enjoyable learning experience for me!

Have you been chilling out with your old friends? Indeed, old friends are hard to forget & leave good memories behind.

I hung out with a good friend of mine who was in the same ministry with me. He's still actively serving while i'm still without a ministry. We had a good fellowship. He accompanied me to Carrefore to purchase a waffle maker for my mum. We share our thoughts & memories. He is a humourous man to chill out with! No wonder many people enjoy his company!

We had Orea Cheesecake in Mac Cafe! Yummy! It is my favourite cake!

After the fellowship, i went straight to Jurong East to chill with another group of comical friends! As usual, they are quite funny! Their presence always makes me smile:)

It's not good for man to be alone so God creates friends! Hahaha...

Sharks! She fell!

Umairah & I were playing on the see-saw happily until she lost her balance & fell from the see-saw. My first reaction was sharks! My heart 'shattered' literally! Her cry was loud & i can see she was really mad with me! I felt super guilty. I know accidents do happen but she is somebody's child! So my responsibility is even bigger...I've to be extra careful in future...

Back 'Home'

This morning i volunteered myself in JAMS ministry. It was good to be back 'home'. I was in this ministry a few years ago. I saw alot of new faces & some of the students have really grown. I could sense the love from the teachers & the presence of God. I felt so recharged to serve God even though i'm not in JAMS. During the JAMS, i wasn't really feeling well as my stomach was in pain. I had the runs twice today & made me felt a little tired & moody.

Service was good. The video clips moved my heart. Tears just flowed instantly. People do not care how much you know until they know how much you really care. Sometimes, people may not know & appreciate your love but by constantly loving them with actions & meet their hurts & needs, one will be amazed by the power of love. Another thing that was mentioned was the self esteem part.

During my teens, i struggled alot with my self esteem part. i had very low self esteem & hated myself. I did some funny things that torment my own body. It was really foolish of me. Even till now, i'm still struggling but my condition does improve.

I really need His strength to build up my life. I love You, Jesus!
