'Wisdom' is gone...

Guess what? My Wisdom Tooth is finally extracted today! That's not all, 2 more teeth are also extracted to prevent decay! It really leaves a big wound in my mouth. I've less teeth now to bite my food...that's really annoying & sad...

I'm going to reveal a shocking truth:

7 teeth were extracted from my mouth in total! of course i'm not talking about 7 teeth extracted today! That's super crazy! I had it extracted when i'm 19, then 20 now 21....

My teeth is so ill-fated...maybe they think i mistreated them so they want a revenge....

In the end, they really torment me....

But i've a good news....

I've MC for tomorrow! Wahahaha...i can rest in peace at home & spend more time with my family & celebrate my grandma's birthday!

Another good news is God answered my prayer & cast my anxiety! HE gives me a discount on the cost of the tooth surgery. It's supposed to cost $250-$350 or even up to $600! Instead God is gracious & allows me to pay only $189! It's amazing! I really thought it's going to be $200 plus plus! I thank God & use the remaining amount to buy food & drinks for myself & family!

Whatever it is, I really thank God for removing that 'wisdom' i do not desire & the discount!

So have you extracted yours too? Don't wait till it's decayed! The tooth fairy will not extract for you except in your dreams!

After a tough day at work, it is good to hang out with good friends.

I feel really delighted as i'm able to chill out with my 3 lovely friends (sammy, syemun, kel).
They are really nice people & are good listeners. We cracked silly jokes & have great laughter!

I met up with kel first as sammy & syemun were late. I reached first before kel & went to Daiso to get a photo frame for my beloved grandma. Her birthday will be on this thursday so i'm not able to attend my cell group :( but i'm pretty excited because this is the first time my family will celebrate her 80th birthday!

Besides the frame, i also bought a pair of earrings for her & 2 more pairs for myself & my mum. Guess what again? My gosh! I shop for another top again in Cineleisure! I'm really a shopaholic!

Maybe i will wear the top on my grandma's big day!

I was a little excited as this will be my first time celebrating her birthday with my family....

I've not really planned anything yet.... but i guess i will get her a photo frame with our picture (my grandma & I).

What about cake? I'll look around a nice & a reasonably priced cake with 8 big candles....

Teacher's day is coming too...this friday will be half day for the teachers....

I'll be meeting Aunty Grace this saturday for the storytelling workshop...i'm excited too, wanna learn more new things!

Gladys' 21st B'day

Today is Gladys' 21st special day. She is really a fortunate lady who has doting parents organizing a chalet birthday party for her & bought a huge cake from Secret Recipe! I went to her party at downtown east after service & gave her a gift. We ate & fellowshipped. I saw some of my ex-primary & ex-secondary schoolmates but we didn't really communicate much. We just casually asked about each other & joke alittle.

Then i went back around 10.30pm. Quanshun gave me a lift to Pasir Ris MRT station. I met up my cg members at Tampines to go back together. I miss them & have a good fellowship with them in the train. I reached home & drank my vitagen. I saw my shades that i've not been wearing so i decided to put it on & take a picture of myself.

Wisdom comes from the word, wise. It's good to live a life of wisdom. I'm sure you've heard quotes of wisdom from the bible & some famous people. I desire wisdom as i grow older but one thing i do not desire.

I had my wisdom tooth extracted this year. Now there is another one on the left side. Before the first wisdom tooth was extracted, 2 of my 'dracula' teeths were extracted too...

Why am i so fated to go for tooth extraction?

Why am i fated to have a few wisdom tooth?

My teeth are not going to be smarter at all. All they need is my care. I brush them clean daily & rinse my mouth with Colgate mouth rinse.

I hate going to dentist but i guess i have to go one of these days.

...I feel like a child once again...

I have a good outdoor interactive lesson with Umairah today. We went to the playgrounds & play on the slide & swing. I kept singing to Umairah almost every minute. I think I'm now an expert in children's songs! The weather is really sunny but we enjoy ourselves!

After exploring the playgrounds, i brought Umairah to the fitness area where there are sand on the ground. The purpose is for her sensory learning. She was afraid of the sand initially but i convince her that sand is fun & is alright to play with it. So she began to touch the sand & we made a pretend birthday cake.

We felt really hot & sweaty. She ate her biscuits & drank her water while i'm dying of thirst. I thought of accompanying Umairah home but i changed my mind. We went to Gek Poh Shopping centre instead. I bought stickers for my school kids again. After that, i accompanied Umairah home. What a fun day indeed!

...Games...

Games are something that many will enjoy. I enjoy certain games but i hardly play. I only play games with my school kids, cg & hp but i do not enjoy games that are from the arcade. Simply because i'm bad at these games!

I was online with Syemun & he asked if i would like to play interactive games. I agree & we played 3 games through MSN.

1. Tic Tac Toe
2. Scissor Paper Rock
3. Jigsaw

These games really remind me of my primary school days!

Syemun won the Tic Tac Toe & i won the Scissor Paper Rock. As for the Jigsaw, Syemun won again :). His score was 50 & mine was 46. Give him an applaud but give me more. It's my first time playing these online games.

Frankly speaking, i never like jigsaw puzzle. I find them hard & troublesome especially the puny pieces. But this time round i'm able to do it. So i'm going to give myself a big clap. Are you going to clap for me too? Haha...

'Ladies' Nite' in Cineleisure

Pardon me that i didn't blog yesterday. I was too tired cos i came back pretty late. What was i having? Yeah an outing... with my 2 lovely babes, Shalynn & Sammy....Shalynn had an interview at the TUNIK shop with Roy, the owner of it. The clothes there are pretty happening.

The fellowship was great. I love chilling out with them. We window shopped & had yummy treats! This was taken in Coffee Bean near Borders.

Before that, we were stuck in Cineleisure because it was raining miaos & woofs.

Sammy had a craving for PastaMania so we went there. I was the only one who didn't order. I had my dinner. We took this picture before she ate.

Me & Shalynn. She was the 'photographer'. She said that if we took pictures from above, our faces will be smaller & slimmer. Good idea!

We took a few crazy pictures as well but i couldn't upload now. I'm still waiting for Sammy to send me. I'll definitely reinforce again....

It's already past midnight. Yes, today is Aunty Grace's birthday. I just sms her & wish her.

Sunday will be glady's birthday. I'll be going to her chalet after service. Next thursday will be my grandma's birthday. So many of my loved ones' birthdays coming up! Loved ones include my friends too....

Window shopping is my absolute craze...I can just walk continuously for hours...here i am in the fitting room trying out a lovely dress...i didn't buy this dress simply because...

Firstly, I appear older....

Secondly, the dress reveals my tummy....

Thirdly, Im uncertain if i look good in this dress so i need professional fashionista's advice...

I went to kidzread today! It's been months since i saw the kids. I miss them. The storytelling was great & interesting...game is a little bland because it's their first time playing patterning game...After Kidzread, i went to blk 109 to look for Aunty Grace. I gave her an advanced birthday gift which was a photo frame with our picture (Ryan, I, Aunty Grace & Aunty Susan). Then i walked around the area & even went up to her place to look for *Jim, intending to take my stuffs but no one is at home. So i went to Hougang point to window shop. As i walked at the area, memories began to come back. My heart began to feel really heavy. But i told myself it's already over & there's no point pondering the past.

...Prayer Meeting...

Prayer meeting was great! There's a korean speaker, the 3rd generation leader of Dr Choi Yongi's...the preaching style is quite different...although i'm not really used to it, i'm fine with it. Most importantly, i'm learning about the Word of God! As i begin to pray, the desire to strenghten my love with HIM just kept stirring in my heart. I begin to desire HIM more each day...I felt really energetic during prayer, praise & worship! The presence is there...HIS love is a light to my path & HIS Word is a lamp onto my feet! Praise the Lord!

...God protects...

I'm back! Now feeling much better! Thanks to His strength...I receive my salary today! Everything is planned...how much to give...how much to pay for this & that...so no worries...keep trusting...don't live a life full of worries...look ahead & be happy...no matter what happens always rejoice in the Lord! He'll lead you with wisdom if you desire Him! Amen!

...The Mosquito Story...

People you must be thinking what is the mosquito story about? Well before i begin the crappy story, let's me talk about my granny's story first...

Long time ago (only yesterday), i had a good fellowship with Kelvin, Xiang you, John & Samantha. They are really my lovely friends! We have so much laughter together...Samantha is really adorable cos she's always bullying Xiang you...Xiang you is such a meek & nice gentleman...haha he said he wanted to go chalet & wish him a happy birthday but in the end he didn't go...haha so he gave us a fruity treat! John the serious looking man can be quite crappy & tells us jokes that make us laugh...Kelvin the vain one (i'm vain too haha) is a very thirfty man...haha that's good...he has the potential to be in charge of his future wife's finances! Haha... I bought 2 earrings again! Man...i really can set up an earring store...no kidding haha....

Now what about the mosquito story...
John & I saw Raymond...we took the same train together & had a humourous fellowship! I told Raymond that i worked in the bukit timah before & i asked John if he's working in the hillview. Raymond heard wrongly & thought i worked in the bukit timah hill! Hahahaha....

We joked about it. Imagine if the mosquitoes are my students...i'll tell them...

Me: "Ok Mosquitoes, you can bite anywhere but not the head & the armpit...."

Mosquitoes: "Why can't we bite the armpit?"

Me: "Armpit smells like skunk. Its smell is fatal & can actually kills. So why die
such an unnatural death?!"

Mosquitoes: "Then what about head?"

Me: "Silly dumbo! If you bite the head, how are you going to escape? Hair is going to trap you like a spider web!

Mosquitoes: "I've an idea."

Me: "What is it?"

Mosquitoes: "Bite the ones that are bald."

Me: "Good idea but it's pretty hard you know. The head can be like a rock. Your sting might break."

Mosquitoes: "Never mind teacher. We would like to try. We are warriors willing to lay our lives. Love involves sacrifices."

Me: "I see. You have the love for bald people".

Mosquitoes: "So where shall we find them?"

Me: "Temple. You'll find plenty of them".

my brother is funny & creative

I was sitting on the chair, feeling sleepy & my mind is wandering around.
My brother as usual is always seeking for food. He ate a bread & took the empty bread package to use it as a balloon. Then he gave it to me & pointed towards my mouth using the bread package. He was trying to tell me to blow it. I blew it & i gave it to him. He crushed it & wanted me to blow again. I've to do it a few times for him. Then i told him that this is not a balloon! I was a little amazed by his funny idea.

I'm now feeling better. Thanks to God! He hears my prayer.... :)

...sick...

I'm feeling very sick now. Should i go to work tomorrow or just stay at home & rest? All the teaching resources are with me. If i don't go, then my kids won't be able to learn much. So i pray that i'll be better & go to work tomorrow.

I'm so glad i came today.

(i thank God for the awesome Word. My life is now better than ever before. I'm much more jovial & love people & myself even more)

Flesh is screaming but Motivation sets in.

Flesh is mentioned in the bible many times. It's the natural body reactions in us (my brief definition).

I woke up this morning feeling sick & have a hoarse throat. I called Mr. Yusri & wanted to tell him to cancel Umairah's lesson. Fortunately, his hp is off. He sms me asking me if i would like to tell him anything. Initially i want to sms him that i'm not able to come because of sore throat. However for the sake of Umairah & myself, i decided that i will go & give play-based lesson. So i told him that i accidentally pressed his number.

Thank God my throat is not so bad. I'm still able to tell story & sing with Umairah. Lesson was good & fruitful. She really enjoys music & movement. We had craft works, making 2 bouquet of flowers (only 1 flower in each bouquet). I gave the birthday present (a photo frame with me & Fadhilah's mummy) to Fadhilah's mother. Her birthday falls on the same day as my best friend too!

When i came back, i had a good lunch. My flesh is telling me to stay at home or wear sloppily to service. I ask myself, 'This morning i don't feel like going too because i'm a little sick but i still went ahead. Why? My motivation is to earn financially. Likewise, it's the same for going service. My flesh screams, wants me to stay at home & go tomorrow but i've to tell myself that i'll be going to hear the Word because i love my God.

So guys, have you been in a situation where you are suppose to do something but you don't feel like doing it under certain circumstances? Do you blame the circumstances or something that hinders you from doing it? Then it's time to reflect yourself. Do not do things based on your emotions, rather be disciplined. Remember your attitude determines your altitude!

...The First Time in my 21 years...

You must be wondering; "The First Time in my 21 years?"...ok it's not something great... it's not even an achievement...

So what is it?

Well...the answer is.....

I CARRIED A DOG!!!

But it's not a big dog! Instead it's a puppy that is a few months old!

So whose is it?

It's MJ's. There was a cell group yesterday. I saw his new puppy which is really small & adorable but pretty active. I have phobias for dog. The fact is almost all non-humans! Catch the ball? If you can't, then i must say you're pretty WOLS (slow)! Animals LOL!!!

I've overcome only 30% so there's room for improvement...

The fact is i'm a anti-pet but that doesn't mean i despise them. I know they can be adorable & loyal friends to man but i just don't know why i do not like to be near to them & touch them!

Then what about ants & coachroaches?

Ants...the normal kind is peanut to me but not the abnormal kind...

What are the abnormal kinds? Wanna know please do your homework....research!!!

Coachroahces? I was a 'screaming fan' of it but now i can even throw it away. Of course i'll definitely use something to cover & throw away...i wouldn't want to dirty my hand!!!

Ok i've to stop here...my voice is getting sexy & hoarse like Mariah Carey... any idea what it means? That means i'm having a sore throat!

Today is my best friend's birthday. Her name is Fadhilah whom i've known her for more than 4 years. I'm proud to say that she is really an awesome buddy! For those who know her, do wish her a happy 21st birthday...

Let's begin...

Although it's her birthday today, Marianah & I celebrated on 14th August 2007, Tuesday. The reason? She has her 1st paper to sit for today. Nevertheless, we still enjoyed ourselves, spending fruitful times together in IMM.

I bought her a tiny crown & a unique necklaces from Diva so she can look like a princess of her special day...

Marianah gave her a delicious treat in Secret Recipe. I gave her a little treat too. We had a heavy & hearty meal...

We took pictures & had laughter together! 3 of us were indeed colourful...I wore electric blue...Marianah wore pastel yellow...Fadhilah wore bright red...

After the meal, we walked around the mall. They went to Watsons to buy their neccessities & i bought a shiny black tube top for myself using nets. For the 1st time, i use nets to pay. You must be wondering; "Wendy oh my gosh you're 21 already yet it's your 1st time using nets?!" Ya it's true but it's never too late to start. However that doesn't mean i can spend $ like H2O!

The times that we spent was really fruitful. Fadhilah & I looked forward to Marianah's upcoming 21st birthday which will be on 27th September (Thursday)....
